Recently we signed a deal with Napalm / Spinning Goblin Records for the release of our new album. We’re working on the new material now and will be recording towards the end of the year.
Thanks to all who follow us for helping us into a position where such a label would be wanting to work with us. We appreciate everything we get.

Many thanks to Jonas and his organisation for inviting us to this ceremony of unearthly tone and riffs to support SLEEP and A STORM OF LIGHT on Saturday 5th May 2012 at the Betong venue in Oslo, Norway. We shall cross through the yawning skies to the land of the Nord and place our sonic oblations at the feet of the weed priests – we can only hope our voice and our instruments are worthy.
We were meant to be playing Oslo during our tour in April but Jonas mentioned he had something pretty special up his sleeve. When we got the details, we were pretty taken aback that we were considered worthy of such a slot……. If you’re going to fly over to Norway for a one off gig as support of any band, you’d make it SLEEP wouldn’t you…….?

Welcome to the new website. Many thanks to Lee of The Sleeping Shaman for putting this together, thanks to Tony Roberts (www.blackmindseye.org) for the artwork and thanks to you for reading.
This is the first news post so here’s a quick summary of recent events…
The new album is coming along well, we have the songs pretty much written and are now refining them. We head to Foel Studio in December to record them. This is being released on Burning World Records, we are extremely happy with the working relationship we have with those guys.
Phil Coumbe has settled in nicely, a couple of shows under his belt and he’s pretty comfortable already with the set. We recently did a photoshoot so we would have a set of promo pictures with Phil on it. We don’t particularly like having pictures taken in ‘poses’ but due to line up changes we have no choice really if we want anywhere to carry a picture of us……
We have some shows coming up with great promoters before the end of the year. Support your local scene. We’re almost out of copies of Horseback Battle Hammer on white vinyl. We’ll keep our remaining copies for shows – but you can get other copies from Head of Crom Records or Burning World Records (limited stock) if HOC can’t help you. 2012 is looking busy already, we plan to do some shows in Europe – demand so far has come from Finland, Germany, Holland and Denmark….. We’re currently working on a few things in this respect. We’ll do a UK tour in support of the new album too of course.
